About Atlas Engineering

This is a patented bullpup of my own design. It ejects the casings down behind the magazine like a P90. It takes any AR15 and AR10 bolt and barrel, it has a short stroke piston, free float handguard, non reciprocating charging handle (folded in in the picture). It has the same controls as an AR15 (if you zoom it you might be able to see the control labels engraved). All the controls are ambidextrous and the same on both sides. The rifle has replaceable magwells, I have an SR-25 pattern magwell finished also, future plans for AK74 and AKM magwells. This rifle has constant recoil implemented due to the longer bolt travel distance.
Since people asked for a PDW version of the MBAR, I also am working on the MPAC, a PDW conversion of the MBAR that us mostly 3d printable and extremely cheap, to be the 21st century's STEN. The MPAC is a MP7 format PDW with roller delay, with all the major features of the MBAR.
After this I plan on building fusion night vision and MANET radios. I am mainly focused on engineering, and planning to license my patents out to other companies․

Here is a video where the designer answers some frequently asked questions about the MBAR rifle:

Atlas Engineering is currently working with a few companies to bring the MBAR to market. If any manufacturers are interested in working with Atlas Engineering, this is their email address: johngalt@atlas-eng.net. Why is he wearing a MASK in the video? Does he think he is doing something illegal? While I applaud anyone who tries to make a better mousetrap, we already have the Tavors, and AUGS if we need a bullpup and those rifles are BATTLE TESTED and endorsed by NATION STATES not some guy in a mask.

This is a terribly restrictive and restricted mindset. He might net need to wear a mask, but if it isn't illegal to wear one it's just a personal choice, like wearing shoes indoors. And the absence of institutional backing of the design does not equate to it being flawed, plenty of good, successful designs were created by independent designers, some of them with no technical background whatsoever. The M82 comes to mind.

I wonder if these will be compatible with "Rearden" muzzle devices?

Seems like a really cool idea and a company with tons of potential, I hope the owner doesn't decide to just shrug and give up at some point. You know what I mean?

He's clearly an "AR" fan, is it ironic then that he went with a bullpup design?

All the best to this company, I'll keep my eye on them, I'm also an "AR" fan.
