The U.S. Forces look a bit unfamiliar with these French FAMAS bullpups, but if you only ever knew about the M4 it’s probably like eating escargots for the first time. As some of you connoisseurs know, French cuisine has a lot to offer if you dare to try, just stay clear of the frog legs. TFB’s Photo Of The Day is at it again, and as the FAMAS is being phased out in most places except in the jungle we feel obliged to share as much as we can of this legendary firearm.
Steyr's New AUG 77A1 MOD "Nightfighter" For Austrian Armed Forces
In a significant move towards modernizing its military capabilities, the Austrian Armed Forces have introduced the Steyr AUG 77A1 MOD "Nightfighter" into their arsenal. Unveiled during the "Tag der Offenen Tür" (Open House Day) at the Liechtenstein Barracks in Allentsteig, the rifle is part of the broader "Mission Vorwärts" ("Mission Forward") initiative spearheaded by the Ministry of Defense.
POTD: The TTS Xceed R - Integrated Silencing System
It’s been a while since I saw a rifle that reminded me more of the Heckler & Koch G11, but here it is - the TTS Xceed R made by TEC TARGET SCHNEIDER GmbH in Germany. For our Photo Of The Day, we just love rifles and setups like this. In fact, this is the hunting rifle version and it’s also available with various suppressor solutions.
POTD: Joe Easter - Running & Gunning A KelTec RDB
You may know the KelTec RDB, but you have never seen a bullpup moving quite as fast as this one. These photos were taken during the Rifle World Shoot in Finland, at Stage 19 which seems to have been a lot of competitor’s favorite stage. The competitor is Joe Easter from the U.S. National Team in Semi Auto Standard, and the team managed a silver medal after the Finns. As you can see, the KelTec has been modified, and we’ll get back to those details in a future interview with Joe.
