About Hammer Creek
“We are a disabled veteran owned small business with a focus on additively manufactured suppressors. We leverage the unique capabilities of the additive process to create innovative and purpose-built suppressors. Our suppressors are among the shortest and lightest on the market.”
What makes Hammer Creek unique
“After retiring from 5th SFG(A) in 2021 I took a job at what was ostensibly an R&D oriented machine shop, a machine shop with 4 DMLS (metal printers). The owner was a wealthy Texas oil man, the shop what you'd call a passion project. My title was ambiguous, generally consulting on firearm design and suppressors. Fortunately, in another life prior to my service, I'd had a career in a CAD-related field, it wasn't long before I was printing suppressor designs I'd been kicking around for years. It was an amazing opportunity, I was able to try anything, immediately test, iterate and try again. I really got into the weeds there. I had the vendors for the NATO standard pressure transducer pay us a visit, and I was able to calculate hoop stress, safety factors, etc. I was really able to get a feel for what was possible with printing. I spent a couple great years there before my wife and I started Hammer Creek. Hammer Creek is not only built on my own experience from the military side but my wife's experience growing up hunting the Pacific Northwest. Unlike the over-built bricks of suppressors I carried in the military, Hammer Creek Suppressors are purpose-built. I won't put an extra inch or ounce that isn't needed into a design. I believe that is where suppressors are headed, especially additively manufactured. We have a really great product, including a few things that will absolutely change your mind about what is possible. People are always excited to handle our cans and even more surprised when they hear them.”

Agree, great story but where are the numbers ?
I love some of the tech in the printed suppressors with achieving great sound reduction AND low back-pressure, but they’re all (at least that I’ve seen) too damn fragile. I don’t mean as in easy to break hitting something, but the lower amount of abuse they can take. And this whole “full auto rated for 60 rounds with a 10 minute cooldown” is bs. That’s NOT full-auto rated like they advertise and then put the limited use part in the small print.
When they can print something that don’t have to worry about 2 mags and then sitting for 10 minutes, they’ll have my attention.
