It’s not every day that you see a setup with any of Pixels On Target’s thermals. For TFB’s Photo Of The Day, we have the VooDoo-M, which is a Multi-Mission Uncooled Thermal Sight, for medium to long range applications.

Pixels On Target claim to have industry-leading image clarity for observation and search & rescue missions. The thermal is compatible with Wilcox QD/Flip-to-Side mount for weapon integration, and can also be used as a handheld solution for long-range thermal reconnaissance.

Below you can see the VooDoo-M with an Aimpoint T2 and a magnifier, which seems to collide just a bit with the rear back-up sights.

The sensor is a 640 × 480 Uncooled Microbolometer, with a 12 μm Pixel Pitch. The thermal sensitivity (NETD) value is < 50 mK. There’s a digital zoom with 0.5× / 1× / 2× / 4× settings.

Is this your dream system for missions that require thermals? Or do you have something else going, perhaps something more budget friendly?
