Meet the Kraka Jet Board, a modular mobility platform that is easily set up for different tasks. The largest board loads 1000 kg, and the smallest 250 kg, perfect for Special Forces units and TFB’s Photo Of The Day. The Kraka significantly enhances a unit's ability to effectively execute operations across a diverse range of aquatic environments, including lakes, rivers, deltas, coastal "brown water" regions, swamps, and other restricted or confined waterways.

By optimizing maneuverability, adaptability, and operational efficiency, Kraka empowers units to navigate and succeed in these challenging and varied water-based terrains with greater precision and effectiveness. To our knowledge, the power comes from an 11 kW brushless electric motor capable of operating both quietly and at low speeds, but at the same time delivering the torque needed to carry heavy loads.

SOAL Marine Group, a defence contractor and manufacturer of electrified maritime mobility platforms from Sweden, has now secured orders for their Kraka Jet Board for the U.S. Special Forces.

The Kraka Jet Board (low right) is perfect for that last-mile covert insert. It can also be dropped from an airplane or a helicopter. It can be operated manually, remotely or fully autonomously.
