AGM Introduces the Spectrum 4K-Mini Digital Day/Night Scope
AGM Global Vision has expanded its digital optics lineup with the introduction of the Spectrum 4K-Mini, a compact day/night scope designed for hunters who prioritise mobility without giving up image quality or key functionality. Within thermals and night vision, I hear a lot of voices complaining about the weight of the devices. These customers will be happy to see that the new Mini model is said to keep many of the same capabilities as the bigger units, while coming in at a notably lighter 16 ounces.
AGM has also carried over the recording and connectivity features seen on its larger optics. The 4K-Mini includes onboard video and audio recording, recoil-activated video, Wi-Fi streaming, and compatibility with the AGM Connect app. Footage can be stored on the integrated 32GB memory, and playback can be handled directly on the device. Users can also choose between circular or rectangular display formats depending on preference.
Power is supplied through a dual-battery design that combines an internal cell with an external 18650, allowing for up to 7.8 hours of runtime. For longer outings or extended night hunts, the ability to hot-swap the external battery is likely to be of interest. The unit mounts to standard 30mm rings, keeping compatibility simple for those who want to transition from traditional glass optics to digital day/night capability.
Although the 4K-Mini omits the laser rangefinder found on the full-size Spectrum LRF 4K, the reduced weight and smaller footprint make it a more practical option for hunters who cover long distances or prefer a lighter rifle setup. AGM appears to be positioning the optic as a versatile, all-season tool for daytime big-game hunters as well as those who pursue predators or invasive species at night.
