Lipsey's NEW Exclusive Ruger M77 Alaskan Bush Rifle In 9.3x62mm

Lipsey's has a new exclusive version of the M77 Ruger rifle. The Alaskan Bush Rifle takes the renowned M77 base rifle and adapts it for backwoods use in the powerful 9.3x62mm Mauser chambering. This rifle is set up for hard use in bad weather, chasing big animals.

The Ruger M77 needs little introduction. The current generation of these rifles features controlled-feed actions with a Mauser-style external claw extractor. The So-called "Hawkeye" line includes several options with big-bore, big game chamberings like .375 Ruger and .416 Ruger. The Guide Gun and Alaskan models both feature stainless steel barrels and actions, and barrels shorter than are usually seen on hunting rifles.

Lipsey's has long been a source for interesting, exclusive models of firearms, like the Ruger No. 1 International in 9.3x62. This Alaskan Bush Rifle swaps the Hogue stock of the original Alaskan for a laminated wood stock and omits the threaded muzzle and muzzle brake. Personally, I would have liked to see a threaded muzzle on this gun for suppressor use. Most .36-caliber suppressors can handle the 9.3x62 and large cartridges with short barrels tend to be very loud!
