Finally: 10mm Auto for Rhino Revolvers

Chiappa Firearms has added two new models to its Rhino revolver lineup, both chambered in 10mm Auto. The new variants include a 6-inch barrel version with a matte black finish and a 3-inch version with a nickel finish.

The Rhino’s signature design, which aligns the barrel with the bottom of the cylinder to reduce muzzle rise, is now paired with the 10mm Auto, a cartridge known for its relatively high velocity and energy. These additions are aimed at users interested in sport shooting, hunting, or carrying a revolver chambered in a semi-auto caliber.
Standard features on both models include fiber optic front sights, adjustable rear sights, ergonomic grips, and a double/single-action trigger. Chiappa will also offer California-compliant Single Action Only (SAO) versions of each.
Rhino 60DS 10mm (Black): Built for precision and performance, the 6-inch barrel variant offers optimal accuracy and a sight radius suited for target shooting and handgun hunting. It is wrapped in a rugged matte black finish.
Rhino 30DS 10mm (Nickel): Compact but uncompromising, the 3-inch barrel version delivers 10mm power in a sleek nickel-plated package, making it a versatile choice for personal defense and everyday carry.
Chiappa Firearms SRL is a fully family-owned Italian firearms manufacturer, and the revolvers are made in Italy as well. For more information, visit www.chiappafirearms.com.
What do you think about the Rhino revolver? Personally, I can see the advantage from a recoil standpoint, but I’m having an even harder time with the pure looks of it. Will the new 10mm Auto help? For me, no, but please let us know your thoughts in the comments section.

Does it use moon clips?
IMNSHO 10mm is over-rated. The hot & punishing loads of yester-year are mostly gone, replaced by much tamer loads. The whole reason the FBI ditched the S&W 1006 service pistol was atrocious recoil. They went to 40S&W like most LEO’s.
The same design ingenuity & improvements to the 9mm also happened for other calibers. Like the 40S&W & 45acp. Plus 10mm is easily outperformed by the 357Sig cartridge.
From a reloading perspective, reloadable 10mm cases are hard to find, 10mm uses the large pistol primer vs SPP, factory ammo is as dear as 45acp ammo, & last but not least, 10mm is not a real factor in most competitions.
