Daniel Defense “Eleanor” Brings the True UK MoD Spec to U.S. Buyers
Daniel Defense has announced Eleanor, a limited-edition M4A1 RII package designed to replicate the configuration used by the UK Ministry of Defence. The run is limited to 250 rifles, each laser-marked and shipped in a custom Pelican case. The company notes that this is the first U.S. release to include an anodized FDE Vortex AMG EBR-22L LPVO, which matches the optic specification issued overseas.

Previous attempts by clone builders to reproduce the Royal Marines setup have lacked a true anodized FDE scope, relying instead on Cerakote or similar finishes.
The Eleanor package is built around the M4A1 RII and includes furniture and controls consistent with the UK configuration. The rifle is equipped with a black B5 Systems SOPMOD stock, a B5 Type 22 pistol grip, and a B5 trigger guard.
Controls include a Radian charging handle and Radian ambidextrous safety, both finished in black. The combination follows the layout seen on issued rifles while maintaining Daniel Defense’s production standards.

Above is an image of the rifle and the custom Pelican case, including select foam and features limited-series markings. Daniel Defense states that this production run will not be repeated. As with other rifles from the company, the Eleanor models are manufactured in the United States.
