POTD: Finnish KAR-21 Multi-Caliber Rifle at Gunpoint Helsinki
Photo Of The Day: The shooting instructor Sami may disagree, but the KAR-21, manufactured by Ensio Firearms Ltd., was the main star during my visit to Gunpoint Helsinki’s indoor shooting range. Chambered in .223 Rem during testing, this rifle can be converted to .308 Win using a single tool, offering flexibility for different shooting scenarios. The rifle performed smoothly, with a comfortable recoil and a trigger that felt consistent, suitable for general use rather than precision shooting.
Observed details include the charging handle positioned on the left and the rifle’s serial number, 000012. The KAR-21 was tested with GGG .223 Rem ammunition from Latvia, handled by an experienced instructor at the range.

Thought I'd look this rifle up after reading the article. These things retail from around €3800 for just the base rifle and another €1600 for the calibre conversion kit. So yeah you can absolutely change calibre with one single tool once you've gotten a second mortgage. The range though, I'll definitely add that to my visit list.
