Viridian Announces New C5L Micro Light/Laser Unit

Viridian has a new combination light laser unit for concealed carry pistols. The C5L Micro combines a green laser with a 550-lumen light. It is sized to fit on the most popular everyday carry guns.

Viridian @ TFB:

Viridian says that the C5L Micro will fit on pistols like the P365 XMacro, S&W Shield 2.0 EZ, Springfield Hellcat, Walther PDP, and Taurus G3C. The battery is rechargeable with a magnetic power cord. It also comes equipped with the Instant-On system, which activates the light automatically when it is removed from a compatible holster.

Three separate modes provide runtimes from 10 to 60 minutes. The retail price of this new Viridian light/laser unit is $229.

From the manufacturer:

The C5L micro is a compact 550 lumen light and green laser powerhouse. This remarkable device maintains the legacy of its predecessor, The C5L — an unparalleled benchmark in its category, while embracing a sleeker, more compact design. The C5L micro is a testament to Viridian’s commitment to excellence, offering an array of industry-leading features that ensure optimal performance and aiming confidence.

Equipped with Viridian’s patented INSTANT-ON technology, the C5L Micro ensures instantaneous activation when needed most. The innovative SAFECharge rechargeable power system eliminates battery worries, guaranteeing that you’re always ready for action. The C5L micro also features a built-in Holster Retention Feature (HRF). Whether you prefer concealed or open carry, this feature ensures a secure fit, making the C5L micro an adaptable choice for any shooter. This rail-mounted light and laser combo delivers top-tier performance and reliability in a compact, lightweight package.

I've got one of these, and really like it. Their SAFE Charge is pretty handy too. Oddly, mine has different output than stated in the article: 200/300/650 lumens, not 550.

I feel like this company can never gain market traction. I don't think I ever sold one when I worked at a gunshop.
