XS Sights has just released new XS Optic Plates and Optics-Ready (OR) Minimalist Sight Bundles for Glock MOS pistols, compatible with the most popular and common models (17, 19, 34, 45, and 47). These new bundles are designed for users mounting red dot optics and needing backup iron sights who don’t want to go through the confusing trouble of finding the right plate and sights to match the optic they want to use. The new products are available as individual items or bundled packages, supporting ACRO and RMR footprint optics with low-profile sights that don’t block the optic view.

XS Sights NEW Optic Plate and OR Minimalist Sight Bundles for MOS Glocks

I think it's interesting to see that XS Sights, a company focused almost entirely on iron sights for low-light scenarios, expanding into optic-compatible products with this release. No further designs have been announced, however, so this could simply be a case of XS Sights cautiously expanding their product line to serve a market that has almost completely accepted red dot optics as normal for handguns. Let's take a look at the new bundles and parts on offer from XS.

The XS Optic Plates, priced at $82.99, are CNC-machined from steel with a black nitride finish for corrosion resistance. They offer 30% more thread engagement than typical plates and fit ACRO or RMR red dot optics. Made for Glock MOS systems, they’re built for durability and simple installation, suited for law enforcement, competition, or everyday carry use.

The OR Minimalist Sights, priced from $74.99 to $109.99, are steel sights with a BlackNitride finish, designed for low co-witness with optics. They work with XS and Glock MOS plates, as well as aftermarket Glock slides. The rear sight has serrations to cut glare, while the front sight comes in two versions: a plain blacked-out option or one with a tritium dot for low-light conditions. These sights aim to provide a basic backup if the optic stops working.

The XS Optic Plate and OR-Height Sight Bundles, ranging from $141.99 to $173.99, combine the plates and sights into four options: ACRO or RMR plates with either tritium or non-tritium front sights and minimalist rears. These bundles are pre-configured for Glock MOS users, keeping the same thread engagement and corrosion resistance as the standalone parts. All products are manufactured in the USA.

"Most popular" and the 43X MOS is not included? Where I work, we sell a LOT of Glocks and the two most popular models are the 19X and the 43X. The rest of the range sell in relatively smaller numbers. And my employer is a nationwide retailer. These numbers easily transpose themselves across the United States.

This is way less interesting with the COA being a thing. A year ago I would’ve been really interested.
