Shell Shock Technologies introduces their latest offering: the Shell Tech 308 NAS3 Prograde Ballistic Tip Ammo, NAS3 casing paired with a Nosler Ballistic Tip bullet. By combining these technologies, the 308 NAS3 Prograde is said to ensure unmatched consistency and precision and deliver exceptional accuracy, velocity, and stopping power for hunters.

The core of this cartridge is the 150-grain Nosler Ballistic Tip, crafted for controlled expansion, deep penetration, and reliable weight retention across a broad spectrum of velocities. The heavy jacketed base is said to prevent bullet deformation during firing, creating a stable foundation for the large-diameter mushroom effect upon impact, which ensures deep penetration and decisive stopping power.
Constructed from a nickel alloy body and stainless-steel head, NAS3 casings are claimed to be stronger than traditional brass, corrosion-resistant, and built to endure the harshest hunting environments. Weighing up to 30 percent less than brass cases, they alleviate fatigue in the field, allowing hunters to carry more ammunition without added burden.
The visible discoloration on each NAS3 case neck results from heat annealing, a process that enhances bullet grip, improves neck tension, and ensures shot-to-shot consistency. It appears to be fluted ammunition without flutes. But, the idea of making the bullet lighter and still just as big, so as to get higher velocity with less powder, seems to remain central.
They still haven't made a rifle case you can reload......next!
