New Bolt Action Concept: Franklin Armory’s Total Round Control
Franklin Armory will introduce at SHOT Show 2026 what it describes as the world’s first Total Round Control™ (TRC) bolt action, as the foundation of its new Prevail™ line of long-range precision and hunting rifles. The patent-pending TRC action is designed to maintain control of the cartridge throughout the entire cycle of operation: feeding, chambering, firing, extraction, and ejection.
Franklin Armory positions the system as a hybrid approach intended to address the long-standing push-feed versus controlled-round-feed debate, combining elements of both while attempting to avoid their respective shortcomings.
The Prevail rifle line is built around this new action and incorporates a number of features commonly expected in modern, U.S.-made precision rifles. These include a fully adjustable, Remington 700-compatible Conquest™ trigger, a choice between Franklin Armory’s Fidelis™ carbon-ceramic wrapped barrel or a fluted stainless-steel magnum sporter barrel, and compatibility with Zermatt TL3/SR3 pre-fit barrels. The action also supports user-interchangeable bolt heads with toolless disassembly.
Additional features include a Model 700-compatible carbon fiber stock with V-block bedding, an integrated 20-MOA Picatinny scope rail, and chambering options that include .308 Winchester, 6.5 Creedmoor, 6.5 PRC, and .300 WSM. Franklin Armory will also offer the TRC action as a standalone unit for custom rifle builders.
“We engineered a truly innovative bolt action feeding system that uniquely combines the most effective design features from push feed and controlled round feed actions,” said Franklin Armory President Jay Jacobson. “Total Round Control and our inaugural Prevail model configurations offer a new paradigm for hunters and precision shooters who desire the best in function and performance.”

Sounds interesting except you didn't show us the bolt. Ie- the hybrid controlled round feed
Doesn't the CZ 600 line of rifles use something like this?
