Henry Unveils SPD Predator, a Sub-MOA Lever-Action Built for Precision

Henry Repeating Arms has introduced the SPD Predator, a new precision shooting-oriented lever-action rifle developed by the company’s Special Products Division. According to Henry, it is the most accurate lever-action rifle the company has produced to date and the only model in its catalog to ship with a factory three-shot sub-MOA accuracy guarantee. If a highly accurate rifle is of interest, continue reading for all the details.

The SPD Predator is based on the same design as the Lever Action Supreme Rifle, which was recently named 2025 Rifle of the Year by Guns & Ammo. The new model is configured for predator and varmint hunters who need a lightweight, stable platform capable of longer-range shots and quick transitions. The rifle is chambered in .223/5.56 and is suppressor-ready.

A key feature is the match-grade 416R stainless barrel that is tension-wrapped in carbon fiber to increase rigidity and reduce overall weight. The barrel is threaded 1/2x28 to accommodate suppressors. Henry states that reduced recoil and a lower sound signature provide practical advantages when calling predators or when multiple animals may respond to a stand.

The rifle is equipped with a forged carbon-fiber Picatinny rail to support LPVOs or higher-magnification optics. The gray laminate stock set includes an adjustable comb for a repeatable cheek weld, and the trigger is factory-tuned to approximately four pounds with user adjustability. The rifle also accepts MSR-pattern magazines. Each SPD Predator ships with a Harris S-LM bipod.

Henry’s Special Products Division was able to make repeated one-mile hits during testing.

The H23 SPD Predator .223/5.56 is now shipping to Henry dealers with an MSRP of $2,510. Every rifle is assembled and certified in Rice Lake, Wisconsin, and covered by Henry’s Lifetime Warranty. Product details and specifications can be found on Henry’s dedicated product page: https://www.henryusa.com/firearm/spd-predator/

We’re always curious about getting feedback, and so are the manufacturers, so please feel free to use the comments section.

"Repeated one mile hits", on what? A school bus? Life sized silhouettes of JB Pritzker?

Is that stock made from all the branches of the Ugly Tree it hit on the way down? Yeesh.

Is there some point to throwing a 55-75gr bullet at something 1760yds away that I'm not picking up on? At that range a bullet that light will have about as much terminal effect as harsh language, and you are simply not going to get minute-of-bad-guy accuracy out of it on any repeatable basis in anything other than dead still air.
