POTD: Suppressed ZF5-P (MP5K) Meets M90 Camouflage

Today’s Photo of the Day features a suppressed ZF5-P (MP5K) by Zenith Firearms, finished in Swedish M90 “Scandi Cam”, blending a classic submachine gun profile with modern components and a distinctly Nordic visual twist. Compact by design, the MP5K format remains relevant thanks to its controllability, reliability, and adaptability to contemporary accessories. In fact, the MP5K is one of my all-time favorites in terms of pure looks.

Mounted up top is the Aimpoint ACRO® P-2 3.5 MOA red dot, a closed-emitter optic known for durability and consistent performance in harsh conditions. Its compact footprint suits the MP5K well, providing a fast, uncluttered sight picture without overwhelming the platform. The lens cap is from One Hundred Concepts, and I want one too, just because it looks cool.

The suppressed setup further enhances shootability, reducing blast and signature while preserving the smooth recoil impulse the roller-delayed blowback system is known for.

This build combines modern aftermarket solutions, updated trigger, stock, illumination, and mounting hardware, with a proven operating system. The result is a compact, suppressed 9mm platform that highlights how legacy designs like the MP5 continue to evolve.

Love the Kill-flash on the RD with the flashlight mounted out front un-covered. That giant reflector in the light definitely wont be as big a problem as the coated glass on the RD. Good call on that.
