Zanders & CMMG Release Exclusive Bronze Suppressed .22LR
Zanders Sporting Goods has teamed up with Missouri-based CMMG to release a firearm you won't find anywhere else: an exclusive suppressed .22LR built on CMMG's MK4 platform, finished head-to-toe in a striking multi-bronze anodizing. Suppressed .22LRs happen to be a favorite kind of firearm for me, so hang on while we discover the details.
The collaboration pairs CMMG's proven .22LR AR-style architecture with their own Zeroed 22LR suppressor, integrated and anodized to match the handguard, upper, and lower receivers in the same bronze hue. The result is a visually cohesive package rather than the mismatched look that often comes with an aftermarket can bolted to an off-the-shelf rifle. FDE furniture, magazine, and a metallic anodized buffer tube round out the color story.
Beyond aesthetics, the MK4 configuration brings some practical utility. The 4.5-inch barrel keeps the overall profile compact, the 25-round magazine feeds the rimfire platform relatively generously, and, perhaps most notably, the lower is built to standard AR15 specs and includes an upgraded drop-in trigger. That means owners aren't locked into .22LR forever, as swapping to a centerfire upper in another caliber is a straightforward upgrade path.
"Together we developed a dedicated suppressed .22LR firearm featuring a unique multi-bronze anodized finish," said Jacob Osborne of CMMG Sales. "By combining our proven .22LR platform with the extremely successful CMMG Zeroed 22 suppressor, we created a rifle that delivers both performance and standout visual appeal."
The exclusive is available now through the Zanders dealer network, not direct to consumers. Dealers can order through the Zanders website or by contacting their Zanders sales representative. For shops looking to add something genuinely differentiated to their modern sporting rifle wall, this should check a few boxes: suppressor-ready out of the box, a finish that stands out, and a lower that leaves room to grow.
The MSRP is $1,799.95. Here is a direct link.

I mean, it's cute, but a bit expensive for a .22lr rifle. And the handguard is a no for me, dawg. There is nothing from preventing twist, and I just really dislike the two crimp-bolt setup. You can do this same thing with a Diamondback 7.5 AR-15 and put a CMMG conversion kit in it for much cheaper.
Those FDE CMMG mags are absolutely trash. Im
not sure why but every single one I’ve had break the feed lips right away. It seems as if the FDE plastic is brittle or way softer. The black ones are GTG and last but the FDE you should avoid at all costs. I broke a CMMG conversion bolt and they replaced it right away. I emailed them about 3 of their FDE mags breaking inside of 300rds each and they didn’t bother responding. I’m assuming it’s because they know they are flawed.
