About Cascade Range Systems
Cascade Range Systems is a brand new operation, less than a year old, run by Drew out of the Spokane area. The focus is tight: design and manufacture precision magwells and base pads for the SIG P226.
That's it. No AR stuff, no Glock stuff. Just the P226.
Why the P226?
The P226 has a dedicated following, particularly in competition shooting. It was the second most popular pistol among USPSA Production division shooters at the 2023 nationals, with around 20% of competitors running one. It's been a serious competition and duty gun for decades. Plenty of people own them and want to wring more performance out of them.
The aftermarket, though, is thin compared to Glock or modern SIG platforms. Companies like Grayguns and Armory Craft cover some of the ground, but the pickings get slim fast. That's the gap Cascade Range Systems is going after: Precision magwells and extended base pads for people who want to compete seriously with a gun most of the industry has moved on from.
The pitch
Drew's case is simple: P226 shooters are underserved. The gun has been used by law enforcement, military, and competitive shooters for decades, but the industry has largely moved its attention elsewhere. If you're running a P226 and want the same quality of competition accessories that Glock and M&P shooters take for granted, your options are slim. Cascade Range Systems is trying to fix that.
More platforms are on the way, according to the submission.
Bottom line
Cascade Range Systems is brand new and their product line is small right now. But there's a real need here, and it's smart to own a niche rather than compete in a crowded market. If you're a P226 shooter looking for quality magwells and base pads, check them out.

Welp, that’s going into my Rolodex. Do they even make those anymore?
