POTD: Czech Craftsmanship - The KMR W-02 Spectra S OR
Today’s Photo of the Day features the KMR W-02 Spectra S OR. TFB hasn’t written tons about KMR; in fact, this might be our first-ever article. KMR Arms is a Czech firearms manufacturer known for precision-focused competition pistols, particularly within IPSC and action shooting.
This is obviously a competition-oriented pistol, and KMR gets a lot of praise for its superb triggers. In fact, I’m quite tempted to do more than just dry-fire the ones I’ve seen in person. The Spectra S variant is built around a reduced grip frame, intended to provide improved reach and control for shooters with smaller hands while maintaining the balance and handling characteristics expected from the W-02 platform.
This custom configuration stands out visually with coordinated blue accents, including blue grip panels, blue dot detailing, and a blue single-action trigger. Beyond aesthetics, the pistol is designed with practical competition use in mind. The OR (Optics Ready) slide allows for the direct mounting of modern red dot sights, supporting the increasing role of optics in action shooting disciplines.
Here are two other variants.

Is it machined like a CZ-75 where the slide rides inside the frame? It appears so. The factory web site doesn't specifically state it either.
These guns proven themself already in competition on American soil and are available
