SIG 550 vs. B&T APC-223: $$$ Swiss Rifle Showdown

James Reeves heads to B&T headquarters to pit the classic long-stroke SIG 550 against the modular short-stroke B&T APC-223, interviewing B&T founder Karl Brügger and engineer Sebastian for a deep dive on Swiss manufacturing, accuracy standards, gas systems, suppressor readiness, hydraulic buffering, magazine flexibility, pricing, and U.S. import nuances before shooting both rifles side by side to see whether old-school precision or modern modularity wins on the range.

Best part was at the end. LOL!
The latest B&T folding stock is bit weak compared to the bombproof Sog 550, and has a weak spring, one company offers a stronger spring replacement. Sig 550/military P90 has standard tritium sights, so beats B&T in that respect. Until they die from old age. Some of the latest Sig pistol imports from JDI allow you to mount a suppressor (not a unitary barrel). Sig 550 has a lot of life left in it. I own both companies firearms and like both.
