New Beretta 92FS ODG Suppressor Ready Pistol

I recently participated in the Beretta Gold Cup 2025 (IPSC). With eighteen very dynamic stages, it’s clearly one of the best matches I’ve ever shot. During the verification we got to shoot all sorts of Beretta firearms, including various versions of the 92 and 92X. These Berettas came in all sorts of colors, with a focus on blue, red and lime.

I thought I'd rather have an OD Green one, and to my surprise, that’s what Beretta released the day after. You would think I’m making this up, but no. Maybe I am an influencer, after all?

So here it is, the Beretta 92FS ODG, in an Olive Drab Green Cerakote finish, which is said to combine the iconic 92FS’s combat-proven performance with a bold, rugged look for shooters who value both form and function. In my opinion, OD Green guns (with black details) are the fastest, but the best news is perhaps that it’s suppressor-ready.

“The 92FS is a pistol with a legacy,” said Broxton Carlile, Beretta USA Pistol Product Manager. “This new ODG version gives enthusiasts and professionals alike a chance to own a piece of that history reimagined with a bold, tactical look.”

Key features according to Beretta:

  • ODG Cerakote® Finish
  • Proven Reliability
  • Flared Magwell
  • Reversible Magazine Release
  • Ambidextrous Safety (Type F)
  • 3-Dot Sights
  • Combat Trigger Guard
  • Aluminum Alloy Frame
  • ½” x 28 Threaded Barrel Option Featured on 18 Round Versions

Note that the reduced capacity models do not feature the threaded barrel, which is such a shame.

The 92FS OD Green starts at $799.00, with more details here:

This is a great-looking gun, but if I could use my influencer skills once again, I’d rather have Beretta release something new - CZ / Tanfoglio-like - than reintroduce old 92 models. Do you agree or not? Let it rip in the comments.

Not Italian made. No suppressor height sights. Crappy cerakote (aka see-ya-coat). Presumably still uses the polymer-coated parts of the regular M9 and 92FS. Yeah... I'll pass on this.

Hope it has skate tape and G10; slippery “hands”
