SIG Sauer Cross Sawtooth Now in 6.5 PRC with Proof CF Barrel
Looking for lightweight maneuverability and magnum performance in the same rifle? Meet the new 6.5 PRC CROSS Sawtooth, made pairing precision engineering with backcountry-ready features. The 6.5 PRC variant comes equipped with a 22-inch PROOF™ Research carbon fiber barrel, offering impressive rigidity and reduced weight for extended carry or mountain hunts. The weight is 6.9 lb, or just above 3 kg.
6.5 PRC @ TFB:
Standard across the Sawtooth lineup is the ultra-light folding precision stock with full adjustability, a free-floating M-LOK alloy forend featuring dual sling points, and a rugged Cerakote Moss™ finish. A 2-stage adjustable match trigger delivers a crisp, consistent break, while the stainless steel heavy-profile radial brake helps tame the PRC’s punch. Rounding out the package is a 4-round MDT steel magazine, included with every rifle.
The trigger is a 2-Stage Adjustable Match Trigger (2.5-4 lb), and the stock is adjustable and foldable to make it more compact in storage. The collapsed length is 41.8”, versus 43.8” with the recoil pads extended. Folded, it's only 33”.

A fun-fact is that Sawtooth rifles are guaranteed to deliver Sub-1 MOA, and ship with a confirmation target included in the box. I really like this kind of service, but it’s a rare sight.
I haven’t seen Moss Green in real-life, but it seems like a color that switches its appearance to the eye depending on how much ambient light it gets, in the green to brown spectrum.

Shot this at Sig NEXT. It's phenomenal. Never shot long distance, every shot at 200 yards hit the exact same spot. At 645 yds every shot hit the silhouette. To be fair, I did also have the new Bravo6T BDX and KILO WARP guiding me in.
