Probably best known for their 80% Glock frames, Geisler Defence has something new in the pipeline. A modular, adaptable frame which lets you swap out segments to lengthen or shorten the length of your Glock’s pistol grip. Want a compact concealable pistols, with Geisler Defence’ new modular frame you can shorten the grip. Want to add a flared magwell to your carry pistol because you have a 3 gun match at the weekend? Then you can throw on your flared Geisler Defence grip segment.

Speaking to Geisler Defence they explained to us that they began working on the project six months ago and went to patent the system only to find that a similar concept had already been patented. So they secured the rights to the patent so they could go ahead with the project.

The system uses a tab and rail system to interlock the various segments. On display were a number of mock-up segments. A short segment for a compact, concealable length of grip, a longer segment that would provide a standard grip size and a standard segment with an integral flared magazine well. The system’s modularity could offer additional options in the future.

They had a 3D printed mock-up on display but the final version is likely to be moulded reinforced polymer like their line of 80% frames. The name of the new modular system hasn’t been decided yet but they are hoping to be able to launch in July of 2026. The new frames will be compatible with Glock 17, 19, 26 and 43X models. They are aiming for a $180-200 price point.
