Infante Ultrasonics Adds Pistol Slide Magnet and Small Parts Basket

Infante Ultrasonics has released two accessories designed to expand the functionality of ultrasonic gun cleaning systems. The Pistol Slide Support Magnet and Small Parts Basket address specific problems that arise during ultrasonic cleaning of firearms components.

The Pistol Slide Support Magnet solves a straightforward issue: how to clean a pistol slide with a mounted optic without submerging the red dot in the cleaning solution. The magnet attaches to Infante's parts baskets and suspends the slide vertically, keeping the optic above the liquid line while the rest of the slide undergoes ultrasonic cleaning.

Each magnet measures 3 inches long by 0.35 inches wide by 2.5 inches high and includes a permanently attached M8 threaded stud. The magnets are sold in pairs for $29.99 and work with most pistol slides, including optics-ready models and those with red dots already installed.

The accessory addresses the reality that optics-mounted pistols have become standard rather than exceptional. Traditional ultrasonic cleaning requires complete submersion, which risks damage to electronic optics. Infante's solution allows the slide to be cleaned without removing the optic or exposing it to the cleaning solution.

The Small Parts Basket targets a different problem: keeping track of springs, detents, screws, and pins during aggressive ultrasonic cycles. The stainless steel basket sits inside a primary ultrasonic basket and features 1mm mesh sizing to contain small components without blocking ultrasonic energy transmission.
