[SHOT 2026] Midwest Industries Revolver Stocks, MP5 Mounts & Lima 6 HG
Midwest Industries rolled out products nobody saw coming at SHOT Show 2026. The Wisconsin manufacturer announced revolver stocks and braces, expanded their MP5 optic mount lineup and partnered with Lima 6 on a handguard for belt-fed AR uppers. We caught up with them at their booth to get the details.
The revolver stock and brace lineup is Midwest's first foray into handgun furniture. These attach to large-frame revolvers like the Ruger Super Blackhawk and S&W X frames, giving hunters a shoulder contact point for steadier long-range shots with scoped hunting revolvers and funzies guns. Midwest teased a revolver handguard prototype at the booth but didn't provide specs or availability. They told me they shouldn’t have even brought it its that new of a prototype. The stocks and braces are already live on Midwest's website.
Revolver Stocks/Braces:
- Compatible with a myriad large-frame revolvers
- Designed for scoped handgun hunting applications
- Improves stability for long-range shots
- Pricing is at $314.99
Midwest's MP5/MP5K mount series expanded significantly. The NV Optic Mount stands out as the first mount allowing simultaneous red dot and laser mounting on MP5-pattern firearms. Eight adjustable lugs ensure compatibility across multiple laser designators while clearing the front sight. The mount sits high enough to promote upright shooting posture while maintaining iron sight access through a pass-through channel.
Three mounting interfaces are available: standard Picatinny rail, Aimpoint Acro pattern, and T2 Micro pattern compatible with Aimpoint T-2 and similar optics. All variants work with HK MP5/MP5K and clones including Century Arms AP5/K, Zenith ZF-5/K, and Military Arms Corporation MAC-5/K. Midwest emphasized these are optimized for 9mm receivers and may have fitment issues with .40 S&W or 10mm variants.
The MP5 lineup also includes a Tall Optic Mount for standard red dot applications and an M-LOK top rail that replaces the factory handguard while adding accessory mounting options. All MP5 mounts feature Midwest's patent-pending rock-solid design and ship with installation hardware. Pricing wasn't announced for the new MP5 variants.
Midwest partnered with Lima 6 to produce a handguard specifically for Lima 6's belt-fed AR uppers. It appears to be based on their Combat Rail series. The partnership gives Lima 6 customers access to Midwest's proven rail designs while ensuring compatibility with the belt-fed system's longer receiver dimensions. No standalone pricing for the Lima 6-specific handguard was provided.
Midwest didn't provide specific launch timelines for the MP5 mount variants. The revolver stocks and braces are currently available through their website. The Lima 6 partnership appears focused on supplying handguards for complete Lima 6 upper assemblies rather than standalone aftermarket sales.
What do you think of Midwest Industries moving into revolver furniture? Is the MP5 NV mount solving a real problem, or is it a solution searching for users? Let us know in the comments below.

Years back, I burned my bare forearm while shooting a buddy's revolving carbine reproduction...not even sure how you'd grip this setup without doing the same.
Someone should slap one of those braces/stocks on a fitz special for the giggles.
