[SHOT 2026] New Scopes and New ACOG/RCR Combo From Trijicon
Catching up with Trijicon at this year’s SHOT Show we were pleased to hear about a couple of cool new products including a slick ACOG/RCR Combo. Alongside the new combo Trijicon have some new Credo line scopes and the VCOG is now available in Flat Dark Earth.
The VCOG (Variable Combat Optical Gunsight) has been around for a while now but this year Trijicon have gotten around to releasing a new FDE variant. The finish on the 1-8x28 VCOG that I had the chance to look at was, as you would expect, very clean. Perfect for getting that two-tone look with your black rifle or heading into the desert an not standing out. MSRP on the FDE VCOG with an MOA or MRAD LED reticle is going to be around $3,100
The biggest move from Trijicon this year is the launch of some new Credo HX models. New 2.5-10x56, 2.5-15x42, 2.5-15x56 and 4-16x50 models are being added to the line. The new Credo HX models are available with a combined red/green illumination, toolless adjusters for return to zero and the new Trijicon BDC Hunter Holds reticle with PowerDot.
In terms of hunting-centric offerings Trijicon have also added a 1-8x28 option to their AccuPoint line. These have a battery-free tritium and fiber optics illuminated reticle which enables fast target acquisition, even in low light. The 1-8x28 AccuPoint comes in either Trijicon’s Red Triangle Post Reticle or the new BDC Hunter Holds reticle, just like the Credo HXs.
Finally, on the more defensive side of things the ACOG/RCR Combo is now available. This optimises your optics set up for medium to close range engagements, the 3.25 MOA RCR red dot is perfect for Close Quarter Battle (CQB) situations while the ACOG for longer distance shots requiring additional magnification. This has an MSRP of $2,586.00.
