POTD: Quack Rifle - The Daniel Defense DDM4V7 in Duck Camo

For waterfowl hunters or anyone looking for an AR-15 that stands out from the typical black or tan tactical configurations, this limited-edition Daniel Defense offers an alternative aesthetic. The Duck Camo gives it a distinct appearance compared to standard carbines commonly seen at the range or in the field. At first, you may not see it, and take it for a simple tan-only rifle, but take a look at the images below and the pattern will show.

The optics is a Vortex AMG UH-1 Gen II Holographic Sight in FDE.

As mentioned, the duck camo stands out better in these images. What do you think?

If you want a rock-solid, do-everything AR that also turns heads at the duck lease or the range, the Duck Camo V7 is one of the better limited editions Daniel Defense has around. I just wish they had included the ejection port cover in the paint job.

The Daniel Defense DDM4V7 Duck Camo 5.56 NATO is priced just a cent below $3,000, and only 300 have been made. Have your quack in the comments.

  • Duck camo has to be one of the worst things to happen to the firearms community. The 7 people who like it will maybe be happy about this.

I heard a gun store employee call it chocolate chip. It would have been really thoughtful to do the dust port with matching colors.. seems more careless with some thought.
