Leupold Have The VX-5HD Gen 2 Riflescopes Ready
It’s been eight years since its introduction, and it’s now time for the VX-5HD Gen 2. It’s available in six configurations: 1-5x24, 2-10x42, 3-15x44, 3-15x50, 3-15x56, and 4-20x52. The VX-5HD Gen 2 is designed for hunters needing reliable performance in tough conditions. It features Leupold’s Professional-Grade Optical System for clear visuals, with strong light transmission, glare reduction, and sharp resolution. The scopes include Guard-Ion lens coatings to repel dirt and water, ensuring clarity across the entire field of view.
A new SpeedSet elevation dial allows tool-free zeroing and adjustments, with a push-button ZeroLock to prevent unintended changes. The scopes also have a redesigned main tube for increased elevation travel, competition-grade adjustments, and an integrated throw lever. Each VX-5HD Gen 2 comes with one free custom dial tailored to your specific load, muzzle velocity, and environmental conditions via Leupold’s CDS system, which aids in quick elevation adjustments for bullet drop. Additional dials can be purchased separately.

The new dials are legitimately kind of neat. The pricing also seems reasonable, albeit it feels like Leupold is playing it insanely safe these days and giving up thought leadership.
