The Recoil Mitigating Buffer (RMB) is unlike other PCC buffers, which are usually no more than a standard buffer with extra weight inside. In contrast, the RMB has a sliding body with a captive spring. This offers improved recoil control and is stated to completely eliminate bolt bounce.
The RMB was created in collaboration with blowback9.com, a noted resource for AR9 support and troubleshooting. It can be purchased by itself for $59, or in a kit with a buffer tube and recoil spring for $79. The RMB is also included in the PCC lowers made by Foxtrot Mike, and in complete PCC firearms as well.
From the manufacturer:
“Foxtrot Mike Products, a trusted name in firearm innovation for over nine years, proudly announces the launch of its latest advancement: the RMB (Recoil Mitigating Buffer) System. Designed specifically for pistol caliber carbines (PCCs), the RMB is a proprietary buffer system that dramatically improves performance, accuracy, and shooting comfort — while maintaining the affordability and reliability that Foxtrot Mike is known for.
At the core of the RMB is a finely tuned reciprocating mass that eliminates bolt bounce — a long-standing issue in traditional blowback-operated PCCs. Combined with a sliding buffer body, a dampening spring, and a durable urethane impact modifier, the RMB system delivers a soft, controlled recoil impulse that users will feel immediately — and high-speed video confirms it: 100% elimination of bolt bounce.”

What is a PCC?
There are many ways to eliminate bolt bounce going back to the early 1940's at the invention of the current AR style action....I'm sure this is nothing new?
The basic description makes it sound very similar to the captured telescoping recoil spring of the MP40. Unless there are several springs nested inside it, I fail to see how the "reciprocating mass" will soften recoil. I certainly would like to know if it works.
