Mission First Tactical @ TFB:
- Mission First Tactical MFT Extreme Duty 7.62×51 NATO Magazines
- Mission First Tactical Releases Mandalorian Beskar-Themed Magazine
- Mission First Tactical Introduces New MFT Belly Band Holster
Constructed from a military-grade copolymer, the magazine is built to withstand heat, cold, UV exposure, chemicals, and impact, even in extreme temperatures. It resists cracking, brittling, or discoloring over time without requiring lip reinforcement. Available in Clear and Smoke finishes, the translucent body allows users to check ammunition count and type at a glance, with a textured surface to minimize shine.
The SKU is 10EXD762x51-T-C for the translucent version.
Key features for these translucent magazines include:
- Long glass fiber polymer construction for durability
- Ribbed surfaces on front and rear for improved grip
- Tool-less disassembly with double floor plate safety release tabs
- Stainless-steel spring and four-way anti-tilt, self-lubricating follower
- Flared floor plate for easier handling
- Oversized bolt catch for reliable operation
- Paint pen dot matrix for marking
Do you prefer the smoked look? The SKU is 10EXD762x51-T-S.
According to MFT, the magazine is currently in use by federal law enforcement agencies. It has an MSRP of $22.99, and here’s a direct link: https://missionfirsttactical.com/10EXD762x51-T/
What kind of magazines do you like best? Ordinary black ones, or painted in the same (or contrast) color of your firearm? Or do you like translucent or smoked translucent magazines like these? Please use the comments section and let us know. Personally, I do think translucent gives a cooler look, but also adds functionality as you can see what’s inside. For absolute long-term performance, I’d go for a black magazine, most likely a metal magazine.

I'll take your word about the quality of these mags, but those of us who have spent any real time in the military get a good laugh whenever wee see someone use the term "military-grade." :-)
Mag Pul got these covered. How about hard to find mags? Give us something different. SCAR 17 mags for $22 would be a winner. Then again, if FN would have used the common 7.62x51 P-mags in first place. Crap, now I'm going in circles!
