GPO USA Launches PASSION HDi Riflescope Line
German Precision Optics USA (GPO USA) has introduced the new PASSION™ HDi riflescope series, designed to deliver high-end optical performance while maintaining affordability for a broad range of hunters and shooters. The lineup focuses on practical features rather than unnecessary complexity, offering a streamlined experience with essential capabilities.
The PASSION™ HDi incorporates GPO’s HD lens system, providing high clarity, accurate color rendition, and reliable low-light performance. The fiber-optic micro-dot illuminated reticle offers precise aiming across a wide range of lighting conditions, a feature usually reserved for higher-priced optics. The series features a 3-12x magnification range and a dedicated third-turret parallax adjustment, unusual for a scope in this class, allowing users to quickly achieve focus from 10 meters to long-range distances.
Capped turrets with ¼-MOA adjustments and premium brass gears ensure repeatable precision, while the iControl™ rheostat system allows smooth illumination adjustments. According to GPO USA CEO Mike Jensen, the line was engineered to deliver the features most shooters and hunters need, without adding unnecessary complexity, making it accessible to approximately 90% of the market.
According to the press release, the PASSION™ HDi riflescopes also include the following premium features:
- 30mm main tube for enhanced brightness and clarity
- DoubleHD™ lenses for enhanced clarity and reduced chromatic aberration
- Windage/elevation adjustment: ¼ MOA, CCW
- iControl™ illumination on-off technology
- Illuminated G4i fiber-optic micro-dot reticle
- Parallax adjustment from 15 yards to infinity
- Aluminum zoom ring with interface for an optional GPO throw lever
- Rubber eye protector for added comfort and safety
- Compact overall length
The new PASSION™ HDi riflescope line is currently available in the following three configurations:
- 3–12x42 - MSRP: $349.99
- 3–12x50 - MSRP: $399.99
- 3–12x56 - MSRP: $449.99
The PASSION™ HDi is built for versatility and durability, backed by GPO’s Spectacular Lifetime Warranty, and is intended for use in hunting, target shooting, and tactical applications. The line will be available through authorized GPO USA dealers and online via the GPO USA website.
