$500 for a Trigger?! Why Corvus' New AUG Trigger Might Be Worth It

James Reeves visits the Corvus booth at Austria Arms Action Days to check out a prototype trigger system designed specifically for the Steyr AUG. If you’ve ever shot a bullpup, you know one of the biggest complaints is the mushy trigger. Corvus is changing that with a new drop-in, two-stage aluminum and steel trigger pack that breaks at around 2.5kg, features a short reset, and installs in seconds. It’s taken over a year to develop, and it’s finally almost ready for release, pending final testing. But at around $500, is it worth it? James digs into why bullpup triggers are so tough to get right, what makes this system different, and why it might finally fix the AUG’s worst flaw.

Not a single shot? Not one? Really?!
I‘ve been waiting for that trigger for several years now. - Gimme at least a bit of a preview!
I don't know if they're still being made but Small Arms Review magazine used to advertise the "Trigger Tamer" for AUGs. Basically a spring replacement. Took longer to read the instructions then to do the swap. Made it a nice clean 4 lb trigger that's a joy to shoot. Got a couple thousand rounds through it and totally love that rifle. Just saying there might be other options that don't cost a couple cases of ammo.
