Top 5 Silencers of 2025 (Using Silencer Shop's Data)

I sat down with Silencer Shop founder Dave Matheny at Neutral Ground Gun Company to look at what buyers are actually picking in 2025. This is not a metering contest. It is a snapshot of real sales, which explains why the list blends proven workhorses with a couple of newer designs. The themes are clear. First-time buyers still love flexible “covers most of my guns” options. Pistol shooters chase strong performance for the money. Rimfire fans reward anything that is easy to clean and impossible to seize. Rifle shooters keep gravitating toward a durable .30-cal can with modern mounting that can live on multiple hosts. Hunters are voting with ounces, which is why a lightweight titanium can sits at the top this year.
We also talk timing. E-form approvals have been coming in days at many dealers, not months. Several makers are running free-stamp promos, which makes buying now attractive for anyone who does not want to stand in a New Year queue. On January 1, 2026, the stamp cost is scheduled to drop to $0, which could trigger a massive submission surge. Check the current rules where you live before you buy.
Finally, Dave walks through the Silencer Shop Foundation lawsuit that argues a 0-revenue “tax” is not a tax and should not support NFA regulation for items like suppressors, SBRs, and AOWs. If you want to learn more or chip in, visit silencershopfoundation.org.

I doubt I'm alone in preferring to read the content rather than be forced to sit through a video. Would it be possible to transfer the salient points to text? Or is there a "click-like" motive I'm not aware of to using videos?
Just purchased a Banish 9K with tax stamp paid by Silencer Central to avoid the January 1st rush.
The information is good to have a view of the sales however, getting it from a single source limits the breadth of information. For example, Silencer Shop does not sell the Banish … where does that brand fall into the industry wide list of sales? Would appreciate a follow up video or article looking at the industry as a whole.
