I’m always pleased to see when Strike Industries comes out with handy tools like their new series of Carbon Fiber Suppressor Alignment Rods. These new rods, just like other suppressor alignment rods, help you to check your barrel and mounted suppressor for proper alignment so that you don’t have an unfortunate battle or end cap strike. Dubbed “Send-It-Sticks” these new alignment rods run for about $90 and come in a complete set covering everything from .223 all the way up to .45.

No More Baffle Strikes: New Strike Carbon Fiber Suppressor Alignment Rods

Introducing the Strike Carbon Fiber Suppressor Alignment Rods.
If you are new to using a suppressor, we highly recommend users to get in the habit of checking for concentricity.
Our set of Alignment Rods are made out of carbon fiber and this set comes with rods for multiple calibers such as — .223/5.56mm, 7.62/.300 Blackout, 8.6mm/.338 Lapua, 6.5mm., 9mm, and .45. Use these tools to verify that your suppressor is properly aligned with the barrel of your firearm to avoid baffle strikes or other serious malfunctions or accidents.
We chose to use carbon fiber for its precise and durable nature, (within 0.003" straightness tolerances) making these rods perfect for use with a wide variety of firearms. Carbon material is also safer for the inner bore of your barrel compared to steel rods. These also happen to be very lightweight so taking them with you to the range isn't much of a burden at all.
After installing your can, simply insert your rod with the correct caliber to get a visual confirmation that the rod is centered within the suppressor bore.

PACKAGE CONTENTS:

  • 1x OD11.1 Rod
  • 1x OD8.6 Rod

PRODUCT FEATURES:

  • Includes 6 suppressor alignment rods
  • Set supports multiple calibers
  • Safely check for concentricity w/o barrel damage
  • Precise, durable, and lightweight
  • Rods are within 0.003" straightness tolerances

This new product could make a real difference for new shooters just now getting into the world of suppressors, but is also a lightweight way to have a bit of peace of mind, especially when most suppressors these days attach and detach from any number of combinations of QD systems. Although carbon fiber is lighter, that same material will help protect your barrel and baffles while you’re checking alignment vs steel rods, which can potentially damage barrel coatings. The Strike Carbon Fiber Suppressor Alignment Rods are now available for $84.95 and can be purchased directly from Strike Industries’ website at www.strikeindustries.com/si-send-it-stick.html.

Carbon fiber won't likely scratch your barrel.

Ubobtanium won't scratch your barrel if you're using it right.

Why isn't .243/6mm supported? Why make 6mm the stepchild of muzzle devices?

The 5.56 one is probably close enough. You should be able to visually see misalignment well enough with that one.
