TriStar Arms Expands KR22 Rifle Line with New Color Options
TriStar Arms is offering shooters more ways to customize its popular KR22 .22 LR rifle without changing its proven performance. The new Flat Dark Earth and Olive Drab Green finishes join the original synthetic black model, bringing modern, outdoors-inspired looks to the versatile semi-automatic rimfire.
TriStar Arms @ TFB:
Chambered in .22 LR, the KR22 is a lightweight, versatile semi-automatic rifle designed for range, training, and field use. It features an 18.6-inch threaded barrel with standard 1/2x28 right-hand threads, making it suppressor-ready. The rifle also includes a reversible bolt handle, adjustable comb, integrated Picatinny rail for optics, and an adjustable front fiber-optic sight. Each KR22 ships with two 10-round rotary magazines and is compatible with standard 10/22-pattern magazines, giving users flexibility in ammunition management.
“The KR22 has been extremely well received since its introduction,” said Ryan Bader, President of TriStar Arms. “Adding FDE and OD Green gives shooters more choice while keeping the reliability, ergonomics, and value that made the KR22 such a strong rimfire option from the beginning.”
The addition of Flat Dark Earth and Olive Drab Green was developed in response to customer demand for more color options without altering the core design or performance of the KR22. Pricing remains competitive, with the original black model at $289 and the new FDE and OD Green models available at $309. In my opinion, FDE looks better, but OD Greens are usually faster.
The KR22 in its new colors is shipping now through authorized TriStar Arms dealers nationwide.

It’s interesting and positive to see the .22LR remain in focus for new rifles, it’s a really good calibre for so many things.
