Beretta USA adds a precision adjustable stock system for their A300 Ultima Patrol shotgun. The Chisel Stock variant of the A300 Ultima Patrol is said to offer the same reliability, control, and modularity users would expect, but enhanced with a fully adjustable rear stock system that includes an Integrated Optic Mount (RMR footprint), an adjustable length of pull, an adjustable cheek piece, two QD sling point and a Magpul MOE pistol grip. To ease the recoil, there’s a KICK-EEZ Recoil Pad towards your shoulder.

In case you didn’t know, or forgot, Beretta was established in 1526. That means they’re going to have a 500th anniversary next year, so start preparing. Make sure you mark your calendars.

In the news release, the following statement was attached: “The A300 Ultima Patrol Chisel Stock takes an already outstanding tactical shotgun and gives users the kind of adjustability and ergonomic fit you usually only see on custom builds,” said Dina Sanders, Beretta USA Marketing Manager. “It’s a no compromise solution for professionals and defenders who demand total control.”

Do you prefer this type of stock, or a more traditional one, when you’re doing a forced entry?

As with all A300 Ultima Patrol models, the Chisel Stock version includes:

  • Enlarged Loading Port
  • Extended Bolt Release and Bolt Handle
  • Oversized and Reversible Safety Button
  • Interchangeable Front Sight Post
  • Aggressively Textured Grip Areas
  • 7-slot 1913 Picatinny Optics Mounting Rail
  • 3X QD Mounting Points
  • M-LOK Barrel Clamp and Forend
  • Includes Loop Velcro For Accessory Attachment
  • Available in a 7+1 and a 5+1 Capacity (both have the same price)

I would like a pistol grip stock on my A300 but not like this. Just a normal looking one. That one will hang up on web gear and tear a car interior.

That's primarily why I went with the "Mesa Tactical Urbino PG stock" on my A300 Ultima Patrol SBS project. Just make sure you center it up and tighten it down good with (blue) threadlocker. Excellent ergos, great LoP, reduced snag-risk, and still modular (sling swivel is getting removed and replaced with QD mounts)...
