If you’re shooting long range, you’re the target, as Primary Arms Optics expands their SLx series with the SLx 4.5–27×56 FFP Rifle Scope, marking the line’s entry into the high-magnification category. The new optic combines a 4.5–27× magnification range, precision first focal plane reticles, and upgraded turrets while maintaining the affordability the SLx line is known for.

Built with fully multicoated lenses, the SLx 4.5–27×56 is said to provide excellent color fidelity and clarity at extended distances. The interchangeable turret system allows shooters to switch between capped and tactical windage turrets, while the Easy Stop® mechanism ensures a reliable return to zero. With 32 MILs of total elevation adjustment, the optic is designed for those entering precision shooting or upgrading existing equipment for greater reach.

The scope is available with two reticle options: the ACSS Athena BPR MIL and the new ACSS Deka G2. Both are MIL-based systems with integrated ranging tools. The Athena BPR MIL features a full grid for detailed holdovers, whereas the Deka G2 offers a cleaner layout for faster target engagement.

“The new SLx 4.5-27x56 is a great representation of what the SLx line has always stood for: quality, value, and consistency,” said Stephen Morgan, Director of Product Marketing at Primary Arms Optics. “With upgraded glass, high-performance turrets, and some of our best precision reticles, this scope gives long-range enthusiasts the tools to tackle distant targets without breaking the bank.”

The Primary Arms SLx 4.5–27×56 FFP Rifle Scope is priced at $549.99 and available now through Primary Arms Optics and authorized dealers. More information can be found at https://www.primaryarms.com/brand/primary-arms/magnification/4-5x-27x
