Marlin Unveils 10mm Trapper Lever Gun

The Marlin 1894 Trapper has a new, unexpected chambering. For the first time, a Marlin lever action is available in the best MM, 10MM Auto cartridge! Incorporating a rimless cartridge into this style of action is an interesting development indeed.

Like the other Marlin Trapper models, the 10mm features full stainless steel construction with a laminate handguard and stock. The traditional barrel-mounted sight is omitted, and a Skinner peep sight is included on the receiver. Marlin includes 5/8x24 threads on the muzzle of the 16-inch barrel.

The 10mm model holds ten rounds in the tubular magazine, two more than the .357 or .44 Magnum models, and twice as many as the .30-30 and .45-70 Trappers. Sadly, it is not compatible with .40 S&W ammunition. Ruger lists an MSRP of $1599. The 10mm Trapper is available for purchase now.
