About Spectrum Defense

We’re a small, family-owned manufacturing company in Central Virginia that is focusing on cutting-edge technology and quality firearms and accessories for the whole firearms market: from the larper to the professional whose lives depend on them.

What makes Spectrum Defense unique?

In just a few months time, we’ve designed our flagship silencer, the Helikil series. The H series silencers are additive-manufactured Inconel cans that provide best-in-class sound suppression and gas redirection. Our silencers ensure that the shooter is experiencing a hearing-safe shooting experience, all while not breathing in toxic gases. We also offer our take on the classic VZ61, the LA61.

Currently, three H-series suppressors can be found on the company’s website: the .30-caliber H7, the 5.56 H5 and the 9mm H9. There are no detailed specs available for these cans at the time of writing, but here is the general description of Spectrum Defense H-series suppressors:

The flagship product of Spectrum Defense, the H series suppressor blends cutting-edge design and manufacturing with tried-and-true industry standards. Utilizing modern manufacturing techniques, the H series is crafted using Inconel for maximum durability. While Titanium offers a lightweight solution, Inconel boasts superior resistance and strength under high pressures. Combined with our proprietary Helikil GRS (Gas Retardation System) Technology, the H Series offers best in class decibel reduction while directing gas down range, away from the shooter’s face. This translates to a cleaner operating system and more pleasant overall shooting experience.
