Silent Steel USA Launches PCC-Focused 9mm Streamer Suppressor Line
Silent Steel USA has announced an expansion of its Streamer suppressor line with three new models designed specifically for 9mm pistol caliber carbines: the Streamer, Compact Streamer, and Micro Streamer.

The new 9mm Streamer Series is built exclusively for PCC platforms and incorporates Silent Steel USA’s patented FLOW-IQ technology, which is said to manage gas flow in order to reduce back pressure and improve overall recoil characteristics. According to the manufacturer, the design is intended to support reliable function during high-volume use.
In case you missed TFB’s previous article on this technology, here’s a brief summary of the patent: The patent (U.S. Patent No. 12,313,360) covers Silent Steel USA’s FLOW-IQ™ gas-rotation suppressor technology, which replaces traditional baffle stacks. Instead of discrete baffles, the design uses a turbine-and-filter architecture to direct expanding propellant gases in a controlled spiral, which is said to reduce backpressure and toxic blowback.

All three models are fully serviceable and designed with long-term durability in mind. Silent Steel USA states that the suppressors are optimized for use in duty, competition, and training roles, but are not intended for handgun use.
The 9mm Streamer Series is available in Armor Black, Flat Dark Earth, and OD Green, with multiple mounting options depending on end-user requirements. MSRP for the lineup ranges from $999 to $1,499.
