Christensen Arms Adds 22 Creedmoor, 25 Creedmoor

Looking for an accurate new rifle, built to high-performance specs in some of the hottest modern small-bore cartridges? Christensen Arms continues to move their product line forward, now announcing that three of their bolt-action models are going to come in the 22 Creedmoor and 25 Creedmoor chamberings.
Zippy new firepower @ TFB:
What’s the deal?
Why would Christensen Arms offer these two new cartridges? The first reason is, like any other move that’s made by a private company, they figure they can make money off it. Simple. But going beyond the basics, it does make sense to offer these new small-bore cartridges because they provide improved performance for the same kind of hunters who are buying Christensen Arms’ rifles.
The 22 Creedmoor cartridge is popular with long-range target shooters as well as predator hunters because it will move a bullet with a high ballistic coefficient at a high velocity, giving a flat trajectory while still having low wind drift. It will blow up a coyote or other varmint in impressive fashion.
The 25 Creedmoor can also work as a precision target round, but it’s popular with hunters who are looking to shoot bigger game than varmints—whitetails, for instance—with more downrange energy than the smaller 22 round thanks to the heavier bullet. You get a flat trajectory and great performance in the wind, helping you fill your freezer while enjoying light recoil.
Availability?
These cartridges will be offered in the Modern Precision Rifle and Ridgeline FFT as well as the lower-priced Evoke model.
“By adding 22 Creedmoor and 25 Creedmoor to our rifle lineup, we’re giving shooters and hunters more options that maximize ballistic performance and versatility,” said Shane Meisel, Christensen’s bigwig running their marketing department. “These cartridges pair perfectly with our lightweight, accurate platforms, ensuring hunters and precision shooters can push the limits of performance in the field and on the range.”
