POTD: “The tendency is to push it as far as you can”
I don’t want to make any kind of links between drug use and gun ownership, but there’s a quote from the movie Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas (1998) that keeps on ringing: “Not that we needed all that for the trip, but once you get locked into a serious drug collection, the tendency is to push it as far as you can.” ( Source). I’ve never ever touched any kind of drugs, except alcohol, in my life, but it seems that collecting guns, optics, suppressors and other similar accessories becomes an addiction as well. We don’t really need all that for our next visit to the range (or for those who play the safe queen game only), but we still push the collection as far as we can.
The guns involved here are B&T APC9, B&T SPC9, Glock 45 and LWRCI REPR Mk II Elite, with Pulsar’s latest 60mm thermal riflescope.
We’re going to take a serious look at this Electronic Dope Card from Deltagear in the near future, as soon as time allows. Here it can be seen attached to a limited edition of the new Schmidt & Bender 6-36x56 PM II riflescope. The eDOPE card is attached to a Cole-TAC Cheat Sheet.
The suppressors are from ASE Utra of Finland, or from A-Tec of Norway. The binos are Vectronix Vector X. Pistol holster from Black Trident.
My ending words will be: Please keep on collecting guns, and keep on pushing, but stay off the drugs.
