[SHOT 2026] XS Sights Has New Lever-Gun, Pistol Options
XS Sights moves their lineup forward again at SHOT this year, showing off upgrades for modern semi-auto pistols and revolvers—and upgrades for lever guns while they’re at it, too.
XS Sights innovates @ TFB:

The best of both worlds
With the growing popularity of optics on pistols, an increasing number of shooters want the added usability possible with a red dot—but many are concerned with the reliability and usability of red dots in a life-or-death situation. When you compare them to a simple front-and-rear iron sight setup, there’s more to go wrong with a battery-powered optic. But many modern optics render the iron sights difficult or impossible to use.
XS Sights deals with this problem by offering a package deal—iron sights and an optics mounting plate bundled together, both made with an eye towards inter-compatibility. In other words: If your red dot dies at the worst possible moment (you shouldn’t have bought those bargain-basement batteries!), then you have irons that co-witness through the optic. Because XS Sights makes both the sights and the optics mounting plate, it’s easy for them to come up with an arrangement like this.
You can see the bundles that XS Sights currently offers here. There, you’ll find their available options for a wide range of manufacturers, with RMR and ACRO bases also available on their own, not as part of a bundle.
And yes, because a lot of you are going to ask: XS Sights is working on a solution for the new Gen 6 Glock, which offers an ACRO base that allows a micro red dot to co-witness with their sights.
Lever-action options
XS Sights announced its plans for new lever gun accessories at SHOT Show in 2025. They’re still developing this line. Currently, they have full-length handguards available for Smith & Wesson and Henry.
They’ve introduced a new 19-inch handguard for Smith & Wesson Model 1854 rifles with 19-inch barrels. The full-length guard has M-LOK slots at 3 o’clock, 6 o’clock and 9 o’clock positions, as well as other lightening ports cut in.
The S&W handguard is currently listed on the XS Sights’ website for $175—but take note that currently, they only offer a version for .44 Magnum rifles.
More caliber choices will come soon, and XS Sights says they’ll push their lineup to other models from other manufacturers.
