[SHOT 2026] Tricked Out Hi-Power And Affordable MP5 Lights From SDS

SDS Arms had several interesting new items on display at SHOT Show across their brands. The Inglis 2035 Hi Power adds 2011-ish upgrades to the venerable BHP platform. Additionally, Military Armament Corporation has a new price-conscious MP-5 handguard flashlight, and Spandau Arms has an R700-compatible bolt action rifle.

Inglis 2035

The Browning Hi-Power was first adopted as the P35 in the year 1935. Just as the 1911 handgun was modernized into the 2011, the 2035 is the modern take on the 1935 design. It retains full internal compatibility with BHP parts and magazines, but adds more modern features.

The dust cover has a full-length accessory mounting rail and is compatible with popular lights like the X300 and TLR-1. Suppressor-height sights are standard, and the slide sports a DPP footprint optics cut. The flat-face trigger breaks at four pounds. Inglis has also checkered the frontstrap and backstrap for additional grip. MSRP for the 2035 is $731.

MAC MP-5 Light

Military Armament Corporation’s MAC5 MP-5 clone has been a very successful product for the company, and they are starting to produce accessories as well. Most MP-5 aficionados love the old Surefire flashlight handguards, and MAC is working to deliver a more affordable version. The new light wil be sold as a standalone part and is currently in the final stages of development. Price point and details about the light itself are still TBD, but the goal is a light that is compatible with all of the common MP-5 clones at a price point that will not break the bank. This new model also has more space between the top of the light head and the muzzle to avoid suppressor mounting problems. Look for this light to become available in March.
