Aero Precision Is Back Under New Ownership
We love to share positive news here, so we’re happy to write that Aero Precision has published a corporate update, confirming an ownership change across its brand portfolio. Aero Precision, Ballistic Advantage, Stag Arms, and VG6 are now under new ownership, ending a period described as marked by financial and operational difficulty that affected manufacturing, order fulfillment, and customer service.
The four brands are now owned by a family investment group, described as outdoor and firearms enthusiasts, business owners, and supporters of the military, veteran, and Second Amendment communities. The statement did not name the buyer, the purchase price, or the acquiring entity.
In an earlier update posted roughly two months before the September announcement, Aero Precision stated that Aero Precision, Ballistic Advantage, Stag Arms, and VG6 were operating through the receivership process while the ownership transition was underway. That update said the core team remained in place and that manufacturing, shipping, customer service, and partner support stayed active, though Aero and Stag products moved through production and fulfillment at a slower pace as the company worked through existing constraints and rebuilt inventory. The company thanked customers, dealers, vendors, and partners for their patience during that period.
I’ve shot Stag Arms rifles quite a lot for training and reviews, and I own a few AR parts from Aero Precision that look fantastic both in terms of design and surface finishing, so I’m happy they’re back in business. And as they say, I hope for a new era.
What's your read on Aero Precision's comeback? Are you ready to trust the brand again or waiting to see products back on shelves first?
Which of the four brands, Aero Precision, Ballistic Advantage, Stag Arms, or VG6, are you most looking forward to seeing back at full strength?

I have been a dealer for Aero and Balistic for about 5 years now (was supposed to be a dealer for Stag but no one could ever figure out what was happeningor not happeningto me as a dealer). I have many customers that swear by these names. I
I will be glad to see these products finally come back out on the market, but you say your strengthening relationships with dealers? What are you going to do for the dealers that are YOUR DEALERS?
Welcome back. I cant wait to start getting you products back on my shelves!
I have multiple AERO uppers and lowers, in 308,556,and 300blk as well as builds on there custom build kits. I was surprised to hear there was some “ trouble in paradise “ as it were. I’m glad they are working their way through everything. I was a loyal customer before and will be again.
