This is not the first suppressed Tavor we have shown on our Photo Of The Day, but it’s the first X95 model. This IWI Tavor X95 has a Vortex Viper PSD 1-6x24 in a Spuhr QDP-3002 mount on top, with an A-Tec A-Flow suppressor (made in Norway).

The A-Flow is a suppressor featuring patented flow technology that reduces back pressure and minimizes wear on the firearm. Its coaxial design channels expanding gas away from the bore-line, preventing blowback pressure at the ejection port. This is a pretty important factor on a bullpup, where you have the ejection port very close to your face and nose.

The barrel is marked “Made In Israel 5.56 NATO 1:7.” The X95 is also available in .300BLK and 9mm, but the 5.56 is the only one still in production. Perhaps there are still some available at dealers? Which one would you choose and why?
