POTD: Glock 45 Aimpoint COA Hunter Edition On Ice

A cut above the rest, with the Aimpoint A-Cut? Winter has arrived, and so has my new Glock 45 Hunter Edition, so it has to be featured in our Photo Of The Day. I just wish the COA red dot could have been painted in OD Green as well. The Glock below is just a thin layer of ice away from a serious boating accident, but it made it.

The A-Tec suppressor is a solid, durable choice as well. At least for Europeans, as A-Tec isn’t available in the U.S.

Earlier this year, at IWA, I and the rest of the World discovered the Glock 45 Hunter Edition. It is one of the coolest Glocks ever made, so I decided to get one…another G45 for me.

The B&T suppressor, in OD Green to blend in, has been ordered and is on its way. Not that I needed another suppressor, but because I wanted to replicate the release version. I really hope the dealer got the color correct in the order form. This is the most expensive Glock I’ve ever ordered, but it includes a pretty good red dot, but not the Glock Performance Trigger and the weapon light I’m planning to add.

Now I finally have my own G45 Hunter Edition, and it’s going to get used, while my previous G45 can get some competition trigger upgrades and be used as a testing platform.

I’d be nice if Glock decided to come up with a new design. Maybe a Glock with a better grip angle that everyone wants, maybe better texture on the grips or even possibly a better trigger. I feel like every manufacturer that copied Glocks design has passed them by with better features. I’ve been a Glock fan for 23+ years but after trying the M&P 2.0 I don’t think I’ll ever buy another Glock.

They come up with new designs every few years, that's what the Gens are, it's just that core features like the grip angle and trigger and the LOLworthy sights never seem to be on the upgrade list.

You can tell whether a person actually shoots their Glocks occasionally or if they're a Buy Once, Try Once, Leave It In A Drawer type by whether or not they've replaced the sights and trigger/connector.

Are these still an EU exclusive? I really was hoping that Glock would bring these to the US, I would need to get one as a fan of green. I would let my 19X go if I could get this
