Project Grayburn is understood to focus on future rifle capability requirements for the UK Ministry of Defence, part of broader modernization efforts within the British armed forces. By making its interest public, SSS Defence signals its ambition to compete beyond the Indian market and position its systems on an international stage.
The company emphasizes its in-house design and manufacturing capabilities, as well as what it describes as battlefield-oriented reliability standards. While participation does not guarantee selection, entering the competition places SSS Defence among the manufacturers seeking to meet the UK’s evolving service rifle requirements.

The only country able to mess up the AK design says "Watch my beer!" with the AR platform.
I don't know what the feedback is on these rifles, but I suspect they don't stand a chance. I think it's probably between HK, FN and Beretta at this point, maybe CZ if they put themselves forward
