[SHOT 2026] Six New Dead Air Silencers: OTB Nomad, RXD910Ti, & CT5P
Dead Air Silencers announced six new suppressors at SHOT Show 2026, all available in black or FDE. The headline releases are the Nomad Ti OTB, RXD910Ti, and the CT5P patrol suppressor, which comes in four different mount configurations.
The Nomad Ti OTB is Dead Air's first over-the-barrel suppressor design. OTB (Over The Barrel) means a portion of the suppressor extends rearward over the barrel, reducing the overall added length when attached. The Nomad Ti OTB adds just 4.6 inches to overall firearm length rather than the full 7.65-inch suppressor length. Weight is 10.5 ounces.
It's rated for calibers up to .300 RUM and 7mm Backcountry and handles barrels up to 1 inch in diameter. The design moves the blast chamber rearward over the barrel, which improves balance and reduces felt recoil without compromising sound suppression. Ships with a Xeno radial brake in 5/8-24 threads. Minimum barrel lengths: 12.5 inches for 5.56, 16 inches for .300 RUM/7mm Backcountry. Not full-auto rated.
Nomad Ti OTB Specifications:
- Length: 7.65 inches (adds 4.6" to firearm)
- Weight: 10.5 oz
- Diameter: 1.76 inches
- Material: Grade 5 titanium
- Caliber: Up to .300 RUM, 7mm Backcountry
- Energy rating: 4400+ ft-lbs
- MSRP: $1,049
The RXD910Ti is a dual-caliber pistol can optimized for both 9mm and 10mm. It uses Dead Air's Triskelion baffle system and measures 7.7 inches long at 11.4 ounces. The RXD line is Dead Air's partnership with Ruger, though these cans work with any pistol. Full-auto rated for 9mm, 10mm, 5.7x28mm, and subsonic .300 BLK. Also rated for .40 S&W, .357 Magnum, .38 Special, and .400 Legend. No minimum barrel restrictions.
RXD910Ti Specifications:
- Length: 7.7 inches
- Weight: 11.4 oz
- Diameter: 1.48 inches
- Material: Grade 5 titanium
- Caliber: 9mm, 10mm, 5.7x28mm, .38 Special, .357 Mag, .300 BLK, .400 Legend
- Energy rating: 1900 ft-lbs
- Full-auto rated (specific calibers)
- MSRP: $999
The CT5P is Dead Air's patrol-focused 5.56/.223 suppressor with integrated gas regulation for reduced backpressure. This is the product family with four different mount options: KeyMo, Xeno, 1/2x28 direct thread, and 5/8x24 direct thread. Length varies by mount from 5.49 inches (direct thread) to 6.55 inches (KeyMo).
Weight ranges from 13.7 ounces (direct thread) to 14.9 ounces (KeyMo). Built from Haynes 282 alloy and rated for full-auto use in 5.56 NATO and 6mm ARC. No minimum barrel restrictions. Designed to minimize flash down to 10.5-inch barrel lengths. MSRP is $899 regardless of mount configuration.
CT5P Specifications (varies by mount):
- Length: 5.49" to 6.55" depending on mount
- Weight: 13.7 oz to 14.9 oz depending on mount
- Diameter: 1.6 inches
- Material: Haynes 282
- Caliber: 5.56 NATO, 6mm ARC
- Energy rating: 2200+ ft-lbs
- Full-auto rated
- MSRP: $899 (Direct Thread), $979 (Xeno), $1099 (Keymo)
Dead Air emphasized that the CT5P is built for duty use and has been tested to SOCOM SURG standards. The gas management system reduces backpressure and toxicity exposure compared to traditional suppressors, which matters for LEO and professional users running these guns in vehicles or enclosed spaces.
All six suppressors (counting the four CT5P mount variants as separate products) are available now. Dead Air continues using additive manufacturing for their suppressor internals, which allows the complex baffle geometries that reduce weight without sacrificing durability.
Which of these Dead Air cans interests you most? The over-the-barrel Nomad Ti, the dual-caliber RXD910Ti, or the patrol-focused CT5P? Let us know in the comments below.

Sorry, we still remember the Sierra5 debacle and how Dead Air treated its customer base back then.
Always wondered why more rifle suppressors don't use an over-the-barrel design, it seems like an easy way to get a much larger blast chamber and reduce backpressure without adding to OAL.
