POTD: Sharp Shot Studios' Ruger 10/22 Charger
Photo Of The Day, and we’re looking at a Ruger 10/22 Charger Rimfire pistol built by Sharp Shot Studios. Did you ever have a project that “snowballed”? Well, this one did and what was initially an 8" Ruger 10/22 Charger with the intent to put a simple optic on it and suppress it, kind of continued.
The gun shot really well, so things were pushed further. Now, it is the factory receiver and barrel, but everything else has been replaced. Sharp Shot Studios initially ran a Griffin Armament 1x Prism optic, then an RMR, and finally decided to throw a Nightforce 1-8 ATACR on it, and develop good data on as many rounds as I can find locally.
It might sound absurd, but with the factory barrel, he can comfortably hit fist-sized targets all day long at 100 yards, and can make triple-taps on steel at 200 consistently.
Later on, he plans to take it even further, by using the mil-based reticle and chronograph, and get good data on many different rounds, so each time he goes to the range, he already has the info available and is more likely to make first-round impacts, regardless of conditions or ammo.
He also came across a thermal device that looks really cool. You can see the 'Infitac Fast Mini FMP13' mounted on top, and while I’m sure it has its limits, I’d love to have one as well.

A NF on a 10/22? I can shoot the heads off of quail with a burris 3x9. The chassis is cool.
Dang if this isn't perfect for squirrels being just a little too secret-ish! 10/10 for this 10/22.
What is with the tactical light?
